Thinking Like a Magician

"Bunnies and Showmen and Suits - Oh My!" - February 2009

Canadian Bill to U.S. Bill

It's been an amazing month filled with some of the most interesting gigs I've ever had. It all started with a trip to Las Vegas to perform at the Palms Resort and Playboy Club. I have to say it is a surreal experience to try to compete for an audience's attention with a room full of Playboy Bunnies. I like to think I held my own.
Then came an open house at the Cambridge Club - one of Toronto's most prestigious private men's clubs. This was a great event overlooking Toronto City Hall. I spent the evening performing close-up magic for a well-dressed group of corporate professionals.
To top it all off, just last weekend I performed at a formal cocktail hour at the Fairmont Royal York. It was a gala for the Canadian chapter of the Showman's League of America - the premier organization of carnival operators and 'out-of-doors showmen' in the country. I had a great time entertaining a group of professional entertainers.
One of the best parts of my work is that I get to meet so many diverse people. I really do consider myself to be one of the luckiest guys on the planet.

Special Deal on my Close-up Show

Magic Castle

To celebrate my upcoming performances at the Magic Castle in Hollywood, I'm pleased to announce a special deal on entertainment for your next intimate event. I'll come to your home or place of business and perform the very same close-up show that I'll be performing at the Castle, plus additional magic I've designed specifically for smaller gatherings (such as dinner parties and board meetings.) It will leave you and your guests filled with wonder, laughter and great memories of your event. Because I'll be testing out a new routine in this show, I'm offering a deep discount on the fee. Contact me soon for more details and to book your date -but hurry, this offer is only good until early May.
